Corrections Policy
How this site identifies, reviews and logs factual errors.
Reporting an error
If you identify a factual error on any page - incorrect regulator name, wrong return figure, outdated feature description, misattributed licence - report it via the contact page. Include the page URL, the claimed fact you believe is incorrect, and a link to a primary source that supports the correction where possible.
Mintos representatives are encouraged to reach out directly with any correction request. This site aims to reflect the platform accurately and will treat formal correction requests from Mintos with priority review.
Review timeline
The editorial team reviews reported errors within five business days. If the correction requires verification against a regulatory filing, platform terms document or third-party dataset, the review may take up to ten business days. Urgent corrections affecting investor safety are escalated and addressed within 48 hours where verification is straightforward.
How corrections are logged
When a factual error is confirmed, the affected page is updated immediately. A dated correction note is added at the top or bottom of the article in the following format:
Correction [date]: An earlier version of this page stated [incorrect fact]. This has been corrected to reflect [correct fact]. Source: [link if applicable].
The page's "dateModified" schema field is updated to match the correction date. Where the error appeared on multiple pages, each page receives its own dated note. The site does not silently edit past mistakes - transparency is a cornerstone of the editorial policy.
Scope
This policy applies to errors of fact - verifiable claims about regulators, returns, features, dates, amounts. It does not cover differences of opinion, subjective assessments in the Trust Signal Checklist, or editorial judgments about risk weighting. If you believe an opinion or assessment is unfair, explain your reasoning via the contact page and the team will consider whether additional context or a balancing viewpoint should be added.
Not financial advice. This site is an independent review platform. It does not hold client funds, provide investment advice, or guarantee the accuracy of third-party data. Capital at risk. Verify all facts directly with Mintos or other platforms before investing.
